Dr. Ashwini Kulkarni holds a PhD degree in school education. She is an Engineer with post graduation in Management, a professor in management and an approved PhD guide of the University of Pune. In her professional career of 33 years she has received various national and international awards for her work in the field of education. She has played an active role in establishing and nurturing City Pride School, and is the Secretary of the parent trust A.T.S.S.
Dr. Deepali Jambhekar-Sawai
Director, City Pride Group of Schools
Dr. Deepali Sawai is a Computer Engineer with a Doctorate in advanced computer technology and more than 30 years of experience in the field. She is an approved PhD guide for Computer under S. P. Pune University, a member of the Board of Studies (Computer Management) of S. P. Pune University, and the author of many computer books and research papers. She has played a key role in implementing modern technology in City Pride School, and is the Chairperson of the parent trust A.T.S.S.
A message from our Directors
It is indeed a proud moment for us as we share the success of a tiny seed sown 24 years back, named City Pride School. In these years we have travelled a long distance, crossed a lot of hurdles, learnt from mistakes, but never compromised on our final objective of the highest standard of education. We are very pleased that City Pride School has opened its fourth branch at Pradhikaran.
We strongly believe that unlike colleges and universities, schools are the foundations where the mould is made. Twelve long years of right schooling can transform a child into a confident, responsible and capable youth of tomorrow — and we all, as school, teachers and parents, are the privileged ones who can drive this transformation. Infrastructure, curriculum, teaching-learning and evaluation are the pillars of education, all linked by a common thread of creativity and out-of-the-box thinking.
Our school children belong to Generation Alpha. These children are born with technology and assume every problem in life can be solved using it. Given the right track and direction with proper handholding, they can achieve their goals effectively. With AI capturing every part of life, the students of today will face a completely different work life in the future. An ideal school system of today should be characterised by flexibility which makes it adaptable to change. Rather than giving too much emphasis on what to learn, schools need to educate children on how to learn, thereby making them independent learners.
City Pride School strongly believes that every child is unique, and we give them a platform for achieving their best — whether it is fashion designing, animation and gaming, or learning classical dance and music, City Pride School gives the opportunity to learn it systematically within school itself. The various skill labs at the school aim exactly at this. The school curriculum is modified and integrated with coaching for various competitive examinations within the school, and year on year our children do exceedingly well in these exams.
Today City Pride School is the first choice of PCMC residents for their kids. All four branches follow the same educational philosophy, carrying the same legacy. We are sure that in the years to come, the bright stars of City Pride School will contribute remarkably to the progress of our country.
